Position Description: Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for the develop development of the Multiple Year Training and Exe and Exercise Program and implementation of grant r grant required training. Incumbent serves as a Pr as a Preparedness Liaison to NMDOH, Regional Emergen Emergency Preparedness Specialists, and those f those funded by Public Health Emergency Prepare Preparedness and Healthcare Preparedness and Respons Response (cooperative agreements) and is respons responsible for assisting, encouraging, and trackin tracking their participation in preparedness trainin trainings and certifications, as well as New Mexico Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) required trainin trainings and exercises. How does it get done? This position is responsible for multiple train trainings needs for the Epidemiology and Respo Response Division and multiple bureaus to inclu include Bureau of Health Emergency Manag Management (BHEM) and the NMDOH Department Opera Operations Center (DOC) regarding public healt health emergencies. Incumbent will generate an an an annual training plan based on grant requi requirements and evaluations from drills and exerc exercises and in accordance with recom recommendations in corrective action plans and a and annual grant performance measures. Incum Incumbent will work closely with Center for Disea Disease Control (CDC), and Healthcare Prepa Preparedness and Response professionals to avoid avoid duplication and to ensure colla collaboration of plans and that priority prepa preparedness training is provided. This posit position will facilitate training of feder federally mandated ICS training, and all refre refresher training and work closely with manag management to identify/assist in the devel development of appropriate courses and mater materials to meet training plan goals. Who are the customers? Citizens of New Mexico Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors D Degree in Training & Development or a r related field. The candidate will have e experience developing and coordinating c classroom, blended, and online learning. The i ideal candidate has experience with adult l learning methodologies such as ADDIE ( (Assess, Design, Develop, Implement, and E Evaluate.)

Qualifications: Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in any field and two (2) years of years of experience in training, staff developm development, designing courses, and/or producin producing instructional aids/materials. Substitu Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.
