Position Description: The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide project support for the AAP ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) Superhub. This position will ensure timely and efficient completion of activities designed to accomplish program objectives.

Duties include: 1. Manage the planning of all ECHO sessions, including scheduling, assisting with meeting material development and dissemination, and managing any travel logistics. 2. Assist with AAP Project ECHO trainings and sessions, including planning, conducting, and implementing the training, and providing ongoing support to programmatic stakeholders. 3. Participate in related meetings and conference calls; prepare agendas, materials, and minutes, and assist with follow up, as necessary. 4. Document activities into the relevant databases, including attendance, outreach, and pull reports as necessary. 5. Produce and disseminate program materials including writing draft content, securing input from members/experts, developing marketing pieces, and working with graphic design and print vendors as needed. Disseminate materials through various AAP communication channels, including AAP News OnCall, SmartBrief, Chapter Connections, newsletters, and approved AAP social networking opportunities. 6. Provide resources and technical assistance to stakeholders. Track resources and requests in the Technical Assistance Database, identify additional follow-up needs, and refer inquiries to program staff and members as needed. 7. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain online content and resources for the AAP ECHO Superhub. 8. Manage development of SharePoint and Team sites including uploading content, maintaining contact lists, and providing technical assistance to members. 9. Assist with ECHO-related consulting agreements, subcontracts, and partnership documents. 10. Process and track all related monthly invoices in accordance with the related budget and reconcile monthly budgets.

Qualifications: Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in health care administration, health policy, health education, public health, or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required. 2. Two to three years’ experience in related program coordination, including meeting coordination, preferably in a health-related setting or non-profit association. Work experience with health professionals, state- or community-based programs, international programs, and grants management highly desired. 3. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, writing and proofreading skills required. Must be detail-oriented and able to complete work with a high level of accuracy. 4. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-mail required; experience with web maintenance and collaboration site software (i.e., SharePoint) preferred. Must be able to handle a heavy workload, work both independently and as part of a team, think creatively, and coordinate multiple projects in a time-efficient manner.
