Position Description: General Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Online and Certificate Education, and working closely with the Senior Advisor to the Dean, the Program Administrator will play a central role in advancing the YSPH mission to be a leader in online public health education, including a planned new online MPH. The Program Administrator will help support all facets of this new initiative through her/his administrative skills, passion for excellence, teamwork, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. In addition this position will manage day-to-day operations of online program implementation and recruitment, implement marketing and recruitment strategies for existing and new programs, including attending events where potential students may be identified, and collaborating on the refinement of these strategies to increase their effectiveness, create and oversee social media and web communications including developing new content and updates for websites, and posts for social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, develop reports using social media and web metrics to help refine communication strategies, manage the onsite components of blended online program, provide administrative and logistical support to ensure production of consistent and high-quality instructional materials including course websites, presentation materials, act as a liaison with YSPH admissions and registrar to ensure smooth functioning of all areas related to admission and registration of credit-bearing programs, is highly responsive to requests for assistance and troubleshooting problems for online students, answers admissions inquiries, works closely with administrative assistant to ensure timely processing of expense reports, meeting scheduling and coordination, and general office operations, supports these functions during high demand periods or when administrative assistant not available to attend to tasks in timely manner and working with the Director of Online and Certificate Education, develops and reports on metrics that measure usage, and satisfaction for all technology and educational services provided. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications: Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills; cooperative and with a strong sense of teamwork. Maintaining the highest possible degree of service and responsiveness to foster satisfaction among online program prospects, participants, and alumni.

Detail oriented with strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities accordingly.

Knowledge and comfort with social media and the MS office suite.

Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas and graphic design software such as InDesign a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree; experience managing complex programs.
