Position Description: This position will provide epidemiological support to the Montana Children’s Special Health Services (CSHS) and Maternal Child Health Coordination Sections. Programs within these sections include: Fetal, Infant, Child, and Maternal Mortality Review (FICMMR); Children and Youth with Special Healthcare Needs (CYSHCN) Financial Assistance; Newborn Screening; Genetic Financial Assistance; and the Parent Partner Program. The Epidemiologist will be responsible for monitoring program indicators, collaborating with program staff to develop relevant surveillance reports that identify needs and disparities, and performing program evaluation.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or a closely related degree. Three years of job related experience in epidemiology. Experience in Maternal and Child Health epidemiology preferred. Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
