Position Description: The Behavioral Health Therapist III is responsible for assessing and providing therapy to individuals with behavioral health issues including substance abuse and mental health issues. Therapeutic services will include but not limited to assessment, treatment planning, distance therapy, psycho education, case management, advocacy, and follow-up using multimodal interventions including face to face, group, and tele-behavioral health options. •Support and assist with the integration of behavioral health into specialty health care services

•Provide individual and group psychotherapy to agency patients and clients

•Serve as the alternate tele-behavioral health provider for Ryan White patients and clients for agency satellite clinics

•Serve as the tele-behavioral health provider for SBIRT and ASAM screenings with community clients

•Participate in departmental meetings, agency trainings, case staffing meetings, weekly clinic meetings and work group meetings as needed and upon request

•Actively contribute to departmental planning of special projects and programs

•Complete and maintain clinical documentation on agency constituents who are receiving Behavioral Health services

•Support and assist with the integration of behavioral health into specialty health care services

•Provide individual and group psychotherapy to agency patients and clients

•Serve as the alternate tele-behavioral health provider for Ryan White patients and clients for agency satellite clinics

•Serve as the tele-behavioral health provider for SBIRT and ASAM screenings with community clients

•Participate in departmental meetings, agency trainings, case staffing meetings, weekly clinic meetings and work group meetings as needed and upon request

•Actively contribute to departmental planning of special projects and programs

•Collaborate with Nurses, Physicians, CRNP, Social Workers and Therapists to coordinate and plan treatment.

•Referring patients, clients, or families to community resources for social service needs.

•Perform any other department or agency related duties or special projects as requested by the supervisor.

•Monitor, evaluate, and document client progress with that of treatment goals

•Collaborate with Nurses, Physicians, CRNP, Social Workers and Therapists to coordinate and plan treatment.

•Referring patients, clients, or families to community resources for social service needs.

•Perform any other department or agency related duties or special projects as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications: •Licensed Professional Counselor with active status

•Minimum of 5 years professional and documented work experience in behavioral health to include substance abuse and mental illness

•Credentialed for Insurance Billing preferred

•QSAP and TBH Provider Eligible

•Excellent written and oral communication skills

•Documented training capacity to work with diverse populations with special needs

•Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel

•Highly motivated and disciplined to work in independently with minimal supervision

•Proficient in typing and use of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Behavioral Health Software
