Purpose: The Education and Linkage Coordinator will coordinate specific activities delineated in the Human Resource and Services Administration (HRSA) funded project, Michigan Child Collaborative Care-Connect. These activities include coordinating activities with university partners, organizing informational technology needs, assist with educational logistics, scheduling, case Connect. These activities include coordinating activities with university partners, organizing informational technology needs, assist with educational logistics, scheduling, case-materials, copying and distributing educational materials and linking with evidence-based practices available in Michigan to children and youth. The coordinator will also be responsible for data management for all education objectives and HRSA reporting during the five-year grant period. The coord coordinator will work with the project Leade Leadership (Project Director, Data Manager, Progr Program Director and Manager) and Advisory Commi Committee as well as Mental Health Services to Ch to Children and Families Personnel regarding the i the implementation of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Educational Activities: • The Coordinator will organize information technology needs, logistics, scheduling, case-materials, distributing educational materials, data management and dissemination for all education objectives of the HRSA funded Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program, Michigan Child Collaborative Care (MC3) - Connect. 2. Evidence Based Practice Coordination: • The Coordinator will assist in i identifying processes to refer between p programs and provide information about each l linkage program to Behavioral Health C Consultants (BHCs) who can in turn inform p primary care providers within their region. T These processes will be evaluated quarterly w with input from all leads and the Advisory C Committee. • The coordinator will identify other evidence-based interventions in years 3-5 of t the project that merit linkage. • The Coordinator will meet with MC3 Con Connect and Linkage leads on a regular basis (at (at least quarterly).
3. Project Coordination: • MDHHS Project Director and Education/Linkage Coordinator will have regular conference calls and meetings with University of Michigan-Michigan Medicine (MM) and Michigan State University (MSU) regarding the MC3-Connect. The conference c calls/meetings will discuss the project o objectives/activities, status of e expenditures, project barriers identified a and solutions with the project partners ( (MSU, MM). • The Educational and Linkage Coordinator will meet regularly with the MC3-Connect Advisory Committee regarding the implementation of the project, identified barriers, potential solutions.

The Coordinator may part participate in national Project Conf Conferences/Meetings as deemed appropriate by M by MDHHS.
Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree in So Social Work, Psychology, Professional Co Counseling or Human Service degree. Li Licensure by the State of Michigan for pr professional discipline (MSW, LLP, LLPC) is de desirable.
Experience: A minimum of three-five years of professional experience delivering community based mental health services to children/youth with serious emotional disturbance and their families. Experience developing and implementing integrated behavioral health services to children/youth and their families preferred. Experience working collaboratively with health care providers, child-serving human service sy systems and institutions of higher ed education.
Important Skills and Characteristics: Ability to coordinate and oversee training activities with partners from universities, primary care and Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSPs). Highly organized. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work in independently. Accurate and timely with da data collection. Team player. Strength ba based. Dependable. Experience with data co collection and program evaluation is an as asset.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Job may require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment of <50# and involves viewing a CRT or VDT screen 25% to 75% of the time. Standard office environment. Requires valid vehicle operator’s license where needed to perform dutie duties of the position.
