Position Description: This position will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating quality improvement and quality assurance activities related to the OSDH Immunization Data System. In order to achieve this, the incumbent will be required to collaborate Immunization Meaningful Use team; OSIIS Manger; with data providers; federal and state partners; as well as other OSDH programs that rely on the information collected. Additionally, they will oversee the file management of OSIIS data. This includes data processing and editing, finalization, file creation and dissemination to other OSDH programs, state and federal agencies. • Oversee file management of OSIIS data. Assuring submission and data quality requirements are met or exceeded. This includes tasks such as: o Developing data exports/reports o Creating statistical reports o Working with OMES, Informatics, and Immunization Service to address data inconsistencies, problem, o bugs, errors within the OSIIS data or system o Writing queries to identify data gaps o Creating Quality Assurance reports for data providers o Provide recommendations to update policy, administrative code and law as appropriate. o Serve as technical advisor to Immunization staff o Develop reports to the providers regarding the status of submissions • Serve as the primary data analyst for the Immunization Service Area • Assist other agency data collection systems with the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and programs. • Consult with Federal and State partners on the improvement of the OSIIS system. Including HIE activities related to OSIIS. • Consult and assist OSDH/Immunization staff in the system re- engineering, data cleaning, data archiving, and projects. • Serve on various committees, councils and workgroups and represent the Department in meetings with other agencies. • Consult with partners in the coordination of grant writing and preparation of grant related reports. • Participate/Represent the Oklahoma on National Organizations related to Immunization data systems. • Collaborate with the Immunization Meaningful Use team to ensure high quality customer service as providers are moved through the Meaningful Use Registration and Onboarding process to ensure a seamless handoff through the process through the following: o Attend weekly team meetings o Document data quality errors and communication with providers to ensure immunization trainers have up to date information and documentation is available for Meaningful Use provider audits.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public health (Biostatistics/Epidemiology), analytics, informatics, or related Master’s level degree.
