This posit ion ion will coordinate the MIDAP rec recertification process in accordance with Hea Health Resource and Service Administration (HR (HRSA) requirement s t o ensure continued ben benefits coverage f or existing client s enr enrolled in MIDAP.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Complete the monthly and bi-annual r recertification for MIDAP clients per HRSA r requirements. • Review data for completeness and a accuracy; identify errors and omissions, and w work with applicants and case managers to m make corrections when needed. • Establish contact/communication with c clients, case managers, etc. across Michigan t to ensure prescription benefits coverage and n no gaps in treatment. • Provide consultation and resolve i issues related to recertification status, c contact with clients to communicate the s status of their application, prescription c coverage, etc. • Deliver professional, courteous and t timely services to clients/customers. • Monitor eligibility enrollment of M MIDAP clients. • Utilize software applications – CAREWare, CAREWare, ScriptGuideRx, Bridges and CHAMPS – – to review and/or record data, document inquiries, non-compliant issues, etc. and e ensure MIDAP is the payer of last resort for e eligible clients. • Complete monthly reports on r recertification and coverage termination; m make recommendations to Section Management f for process and program improvements. • Collaborate with Section trainers to d develop and provide trainings to case m managers on HRSA recertification and client e eligibility requirements. • Participate in site visits to e enhance cooperation and collaboration with p providers, to ensure expanded access to m medications for MIDAP clients. • Participate in all required meetings a and trainings, including confidentiality and s security trainings and sign oath of c confidentiality. • In conjunction with team, develop, a and implement policies and procedures, o operations manuals, to enhance efficiency a and effectiveness of MIDAP. • Consult with Quality Assurance and P Program Evaluation staff to develop quality a assurance and continuous quality improvement p processes. • Other duties as assigned.
Education: Possession of a Bachelor in healt health, public health or public health relat related field such as nursing, epidemiology, socia social work and/or health education, public admin administration with a health care admin administration concentration, behavioral or socia social science.
Experience: Two years of professional exp experience in an equivalent position of this typ type. Highly desirable: Experience working wit with HIV/AIDS community organizations and/or pub public health.
