Purpose: This position provides training, technical assistance and quality assurance to Michigan Healthy Families America (MI HFA) affiliates in compliance with the Central Administration Standards of a State/Multi-Site System for HFA (State Offi Office) and supports the overall functioning of t of the Center for Quality Family Support.
Duties and Responsibilities: Training • Develop, maintain and update t training for all new MI HFA staff on the S State Office that includes goals, o objectives, policies and functions of the S State Office including the role of the i individual sites within the system within 12 m months of hire. • Ensure there is a mechanism for all n new site staff within the system to receive t training on all required training components o of the HFA Best Practice Standards. • Ensure training on the MIHFA data s system and all required evaluation tools w within the first 6 months of hire. • Support a comprehensive analysis of t the training system every 2 years. • Support the execution of in-state tra training offerings for the MI HFA programs and and the Michigan Home Visiting Initiative.
Technical Assistance • Provide technical assistance in a t timely manner based on needs, information g gathered about the site through the quality a assurance system, training, and evaluation. • Communication with sites about how t technical assistance is provided in a adherence to the policy. • Support a comprehensive analysis of the the technical assistance system every 2 yea years.
Quality Assurance • Support a quality assurance plan. • Annually monitor MI HFA sites for adherenc adherence to standards related to: o Engagement services (screening and assessm assessment). o Home visiting services. o Cultural analysis and plan. o Supervisor ratios. o Quality of supervision. o Safety and sentinel standards. o Personnel satisfaction and retention. • Provide verbal and written feedback to sites regarding their adherence to the HFA standards within 4-6 weeks of the m monitoring date. • Support a comprehensive analysis of t the quality assurance system every 2 years. • Other duties as assigned, such as supp supporting grant applications and reporting, atte attendance at meetings and/or conferences, supp supporting other work of the Home Visiting Init Initiative.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree in public health or another public health related field such as nursing, health education; a bachelor’s degree in social work or counseling or other human service bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree pr preferred.
Experience: Five to ten years of professional, post-grad experience in home vis visiting required. Experience with imp implementing and managing the Healthy Fam Families America (HFA) model with cer certification as an HFA trainer or peer rev reviewer is preferred. Supervisory exp experience is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Position is remote with expectation of attendance at quarterly in office meetings. Regular meetings will take place via video conferencing. In-state travel required.
