Position Description: Postdoctoral Fellow to assist with an NIH R01 funded randomized controlled trial of a biobehavioral intervention for smoking cessation among people living with HIV. The fellow will participate in conducting various aspects of the study, will prepare manuscripts for publication, and will have opportunities for mentorship and both formal and informal research training at a Research One (R1) institution and a top-20 program in Public Health. Position will be renewable annually based on performance and funding availability.

Anticipated start date January 2020. This position is grant-funded. Selected applicant must have earned PhD by start date of appointment.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Ph.D. in public health, psychology, or related discipline; • Experience with human subjects research • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in the areas of: HIV prevention and/or care, bio-behavioral approaches to HIV, bio-behavioral smoking cessation interventions, community-engaged research, or implementing clinical trials; • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in a health promotion/care capacity; • Strong oral and written communication skills; • Highly motivated, self-directed •Comfort with calling and speaking with a diverse array of research participants •Interest in health equity
