Purpose: Work within the Actuarial Div Division of the Medical Services Adm Administration (MSA) to assist staff with fun functions and tasks related to the con continuing development and operation of the Tra Transitional Medicaid Statistical Inf Information System (TMSIS) report program wit with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Ser Services (CMS).
Duties & Responsibilities: •Prepare summary reports from TMSIS-processed data. Prepare analytical reports and studies to verify results prior to submission.

Prepare analytical reports a and studies to verify results prior to s submission. •Utilize the CHAMPS Data Warehouse and other relational database products to perform investigative studies to identify errors or weakness in TMSIS-processed data. •Identify specific problems and sources of u unusual variations in processed results b between report cycles. Assist MSA staff to d determine if reprocessing TMSIS data e extracts are required. •Assist in the preparation of a C CMS/Mathematica summary report on data t trends and variances between report cycles. •Help in the preparation of responses to q questions from CMS/Mathematica as required. •Assist MSA staff in the development of relational database applications to analyze data and to identify data quality issues as part of the TMSIS pre-submission process. •Investigate data mapping options and t techniques for required reporting as part of t the expanded TMSIS reporting protocol. •Assist in preparing Source-To-Target (S2T) r revisions as required from changes or a additions to TMSIS reporting requirements. •Organize and maintain archival system to r retain and organize the reports, schedules, a and analyses from TMSIS development. •Assist MSA staff in working with the CHAMPS D Data Warehouse contractor to process TMSIS e extracts, evaluate results and to maintain r report schedules. •Assist in development of TMSIS rules-based Web Web product. Perform regular maintenance and and update functions as required.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, business, data, data, or IT fields preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in health car care related field preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Job may require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment of <50# and involves viewing a computer screen up to 75% of the time.
