Position Description: The candidate will join a team of investigators, information technology developers, and public health professionals leading a project designed to adapt and implement a de-identified data sharing tool to combine multiple HIV program data sources to inform and improve coordination across multiple HIV programs in order to ensure access to, and continuity of, prevention and care services. The Research Data Analyst will be responsible for data management and analysis of multiple databases; assist in the preparation and delivery of decision support reports to both internal and external customers; develop programmatic and epidemiological reports; and write data management protocols.

Qualifications: Required: Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience. Experience: 2 years data analysis/report writing or similar experience require; Proficient in SAS, XML, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook); Proficient in data warehouse design/development, database design/ data structure; Proficient in code documentation, workflow development & documentation.

Preferred: Experience working in public health research; Experience conducting geo- spatial analysis and mapping.

Competencies: Able to work in a team environment; Able to work with minimum supervision and guidance; Ability to receive and benefit from feedback; Willingness to expand skill set; Ability to write scientifically for dissemination activities.
