Position Description: The research participant’s assignment will involve applying advanced statistical skills to epi epidemiological research epidemiological research work involving disease surveillance, investigation, and more. The participant’s assignment will require geospatial analytical deliverables as needed by the Rabies Epidemiology Unit.

Training focuses: -Learn how to apply geospatial analytical sk skills to aid in domestic and international epidemiological research p project design/analysis. -Learn how to apply statistical knowledge to ai aid in domestic and international epidemiological research project analysis. -Train in national electronic data co collection and reporting and the im implementation of electronic reporting systems. -Train in assisting public health p practitioners, health providers, and the p public to interpret national and i international rabies prevention guidelines. -Receive mentoring in urgent disease exposure response decision-making and real-world epidemiological experiences. -Develop advanced-level writing skills for p publication of scientific manuscripts and presentations related to global rabies epidemiological studies.

Qualifications: -Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Statistics, Geospatial Systems, or a related field -Proficiency in GIS or other geospatial analysis programs -Familiarity with statistical methods to inform e epidemiological analyses -Proficiency in SAS or R -Proficiency in information sharing systems/data exchange
