Position Description: The Department of Radiology is seeking a So Social/Clinical Research Specialist to work wi with The Epidemiology Research Team. The Ep Epidemiology Research Team is gearing up to em embark on a newly funded lung cancer sc screening study. The study will build on pr prior research to expand a lung cancer sc screening registry that will study the use of of low dose computed tomography (LDCT) for lu lung cancer screening in North Carolina. The primary purpose of this position will s serve as the Data Manager to provide data m management, quality and control support for t the NC Lung Cancer Screening Registry (NC L LCSR) study.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a d discipline related to the field assigned and o one year of related training or experience; o or equivalent combination of training and e experience. All degrees must be received f from appropriately accredited institutions. Skills, Knowledge and Ability: Knowledge of social/clinical research principles, methods of data collection, and analysis skills.Must be able to work both independently and in a team settings. Deadline and goal driven. Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate results. Ability to multi-task. Effective communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Social Clinical Research Specialist is preferred.
