Position Description: As an integral part of the Maternal Health (AIM)- Community Care Initiative (CCI) AIM CCI Team, this position will be responsible for working closely with and under the direction of the AIM CCI Senior Program Manager and will have oversight of administrative aspects of the program, including budgeting, contracting, coordination and reporting of funding. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating AIM CCI program activities including having a critical role in coordinating key project related meetings and activities at national and local levels. This position will work in partnership with partners, relevant agencies, other national and local organizations concerned with women’s health and with efforts to reduce maternal mortality.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

-Coordinate multiple projects and programs from varying funding sources.

-Monitor AIM CCI work plan and assure that project deliverables are implemented and consistently and timely met.

-Manage the development of administrative procedures for the AIM CCI program.

-Assist in the development of AIM CCI proposals and required reports and other funding applications.

-Manage the coordination of conferences, trainings and travel for all AIM CCI events

-Track and process invoices, and manage contractual agreements with partners, consultants, local pilot sites, and other contractors and subaward recipients.

-Participate in various meetings of agencies and funding sources at all levels. identifying, monitoring, and communicating program-related issues.

-Plan, schedule, and coordinate all staff and partner engagements – including in-person meetings, webinars, and teleconferences

-Participate in the development and implementation of meetings, forums and other opportunities for information sharing and exchange.

-Assist in the development of issue briefs, newsletters, fact sheets and other documents related to maternal health and AIM CCI and provide leadership for production of quarterly newsletter

-Coordinate communication, materials and activities related to annual AIM CCI activities and deliverables.

-Identify best practices and model programs related to issues of maternal health and reduction or maternal morbidity and mortality.

-Develop new ideas and concepts related and emerging issues related to AIM CCI projects.

-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Knowledge Demonstrated knowledge of maternal & child health issues, public health theory & practices and national and community health programs and policies. Solid knowledge of issues related to infant mortality, health disparities, domestic violence, and women and perinatal health issues. The candidate should also possess knowledge of research methodology, analysis and report writing.

Education and/or Experience: -Prefer Masters degree in Administration or similar

-At least 2-3 years of experience in program management/ administration/implementation and direct professional experience.

Skills: -Demonstrated program coordination, implementation and evaluation skills

-Strong verbal and writing skills, including reports and public presentations; group process skills

-Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills

-Experience in the development and tracking of program budgets and expenditures.

-Concrete multi-tasking skills

-Public Health research and analysis skills

-Computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
