Position Description: The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) Nursing Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a specialized nursing program. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a di diploma, associates, or bachelors degree in nursing; plus three years of experience in nursing, including two years of supervisory experience as a nurse in public health.

Preferred qualifications - In-state and out-of of-state travel with some overnight stays may may be required for meetings with hosp hospital/EMS teams and/or conferences.

Minimum of two years of experience in direct care for cardiac patients preferred. Experience with healthcare quality improvement is preferred including Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) credentials.

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred. Ability to type approximately 65 words per minute preferred.
