Position Description: Intermittent - Variable Hours

Purpose: The dispensing nurse will be responsible for the daily dispensing of medication as directed by the Medical Director, Clinical Manager, or Administrator. The dispensing nurse will follow the essential functions and basic duties of the clinic and will participate in the weekly staffing for the care and function of the OTP patient.

Qualifications: Required Minimum Qualifications: -AA/AAS, Diploma or B.S.N. -Graduation from accredited professional sch school of nursing

Required Licensure/Certifications: -Current Washington State Registered Nurse Cre Credential

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -De-escalation skills -Knowledge and skills relating to substance a abusing patients -Ability and willingness to learn c computerized medication dispensing specific t to Methadone or Buprenorphine/Naloxone clinic -Basic keyboarding skills

Desired Education, Experience and Skills: -Previous experience with substance abuse p patients helpful. -Experience working with diverse p populations. -Ability to work flexible hours. -Ability to communicate and interact with other medical professionals regarding patient’s involvement on Methadone or Buprenorphine/Naloxone program and interaction with other prescribed medications.
