Position Description: This position is the primary recruitment professional dedicated to broadening the visibility of the School of Public Health and increasing student enrollment. This position is expected to utilize advanced and innovative recruitment technologies and strategies for student recruitment, building relationships with pipeline programs, and reporting on recruitment effectiveness and outcomes.

Duties: •Will develop comprehensive strategies to promote and market the School for the purpose of recruiting new students and oversee all recruitment efforts •Will contact advisers in undergraduate programs to provide them information regarding the School’s programs, admission requirements, enrollment procedures and public health career paths •Will provide faculty, students and staff training in recruitment techniques and admissions activities that will increase enrollment •Will arrange School participation in undergraduate career fairs •Will oversee and analyze recruitment data and report effectiveness of recruitment strategies and the enrollment yield

Note: Travel is required.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Minimum number of years required to do the job: 3 years Professional level experience. Experience in recruitment Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of professional level experience

The School of Public Health (SPH) provides one Bachelor’s level, five Master’s level, and three PhD level programs in addition to its numerous research and service programs in order to advance the public’s health and well-being through education, research and service, with a focus on issues affecting Louisiana.
