Position Description: Seeking an individual with a demonstrated ability to communicate with cultural sensitivity and collaborate effectively with various internal and external constituents to serve as primary point of contact for mentors and individuals/organization interested in implementing newborn global health training, as well as, manage activities of the Section of Global Health (SOGH).

Qualified candidates will have: • Bachelors’ degree in education, public health, or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required. Master’s degree preferred. • Three to four years’ related experience in coordinating/managing public health programs required, including training/educational programs, collaborating with external constituents, and budget management. • Experience with adult or continuing education, international initiatives, needs assessment, writing federal or foundation grants/contracts, and working in a professional association strongly preferred. • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently, manage a budget, and coordinate logistical challenges of international programs. • Strong technical acumen essential with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn and apply new technologies; knowledge of web maintenance software (eg, SharePoint) and virtual meeting software (eg, WebEx) preferred. • Knowledge of foreign language(s) desirable. • Domestic and international travel and evening/weekend work required.
