Position Description: What You’ll Get to Do: CACI has an immediate opening for a Public Health Analyst II in our Atlanta, GA office. The Public Health Analyst will serve as an analyst responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating large public health program(s), projects and/or study activities, and provide technical (analysis) assistance to population of healthcare associated infection professionals.

More About the Role:

In response to written inquiries, provides user support regarding procedures for correctly setting up facilities, applying CDC HAI definitions and criteria, and data entry. Identifies user/system issues requiring system modifications and prioritizes, escalates and contributes to response. Perform various statistical analyses Typically assists or publishes professional and scientific papers and patents. Works directly with senior personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical and scientific solutions. Prepares and presents educational trainings to professional organizations and governmental bodies at national, state and local levels. Assists/leads the development of new HAI modules, providing subject matter expertise related to HAI surveillance and data validation. Identifies and creates necessary module/manual updates resulting from technological advancements, infection/disease trends, or yearly updates of system components Leads/assists in data cleaning projects to improve the quality data. Participates in temporary details as part of epidemiological investigation, research and other technical assistance teams. Participates, and leads, as requested, in special studies or projects.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Qualifications: Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, of which approximately five (5) years must be specialized in the areas of public health promotion and prevention utilizing public and private partnerships. Advanced knowledge and expertise in the use of statistical programs such as Statistical Analysis System (SAS) to evaluate epidemiological questions Great attention to detail Excellent communications skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Masters of Public Health SAS Experience with surveillance systems, and strong analytical skills
