Position Description: The CACI team seeks a highly creative and detailed-oriented public health professional with demonstrated experience in statistics and complex data analytics to join an award- winning team.

More About the Role:

Statistical support needed to conduct analyses necessary to populate a network analysis tool or other activities, as requested. This includes collaborating with CDC investigators to create code or conduct analyses. Utilizing research methodology and data collection tools to ensure that appropriate healthcare epidemiology, HAI, and adverse event data are gathered Designing and maintaining databases for management, using but not limited to Access and RedCAP Conducting data analyses including but not limited to cohort studies and, case-control studies that may require knowledge of Bayesian inference, or Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods Extracting data from appropriate sources including surveillance systems and special studies for COVID-19 and healthcare- associated infections Preparing preliminary interpretations of analyses for sharing with scientific and public audiences, project teams, and/or management Preparing technical and non-technical summaries of work, scientific reports, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed literature Apply mathematical techniques and performs computerized analyses to determine the adequacy of collected public health data needed to resolve scientific problems and modify existing techniques and practices to the applicable program. Interpret data, explaining the mathematical or statistical techniques and limitations and the significance of their use to the specific problem. Conduct analyses and evaluations to determine the suitability and adequacy of data collected and recommends adaptation of procedures as needed. Evaluates data using probability statistics and trend analysis. Strong understanding and application of general statistical approaches including bivariate analysis, logistic regression modeling Importing, exporting, and manipulating data files (e.g., SAS), including recoding, transforming, and creating variables to accommodate analytic needs

Qualifications: You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent is required in public health, math, biostatistics or statistics or 5 years of related experience. Must have strong command of SAS/Analytics Skills Able to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to management Experience with analyzing large-scale data sets Experience with program documentation and code commenting Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously Experience with data visualizations for broad audiences Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills Highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills Attention to details and problem-solving skills Ability to plan and organize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Degreed with: MS, MPH, MSPH Experience with statistical data analysis and use of data analysis tools (e.g. SAS, R, SQL) Experience with Power BI
