The Healthcare Analyst is responsible for supporting operational leadership by creating and monitoring key process indicators (KPIs) that map to contract success. Using platforms such as Salesforce and Power BI, the analyst manipulates internal and external data to create dashboards and data visualizations that provide actionable information to executive leadership, operational leaders, staff, customers and key stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collaborates with data team, Task Leads and management as needed for process, contract and/or project execution Creates key process indicators including both process and outcome measures and monitors performance, operations management and process improvement Performs data cleaning, data transformation, data extraction and data modeling functions Performs evaluation and reporting functions using data provided by customers, health care providers and staff Design data collection, measurement and visualization tools based upon business requirements Document evaluation and analytic processes Assesses and analyzes health information and prepares written reports, executive summaries and/or presentations of results appropriate for a non-technical audience Other tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledgeable about quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies and measurement tools Knowledgeable about health care process improvement methodologies, evaluation and measurement techniques Familiarity with government healthcare programs (i.e., Medicare and Medicaid) and public health policies Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office analytic tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Access Knowledge of univariate and bivariate statistical testing Knowledge of SurveyMonkey and ability to design and develop surveys Ability to think creatively, analyze problems, and find innovative approaches to problem resolution. Must be detail oriented and self-directed, able to maintain confidentiality of information, work well with individuals at all levels, and be flexible in work assignments. Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization in verbal and written formats, including ability to present information internally and externally Knowledge of team skills and project management Ability to organize work, manage time and projects Ability to write informative, concise reports Ability to express ideas` and convey information quickly and effectively. Must be able to travel as needed "driving" and/or "going on airplane to customer locations or meetings"

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or quantitative field of study;

Master’s degree in Business, Statistics or Healthcare Management; and

3 or more years of experience analyzing healthcare information, including and not limited to survey, univariate and bivariate statistical testing

Preferred Experience:

SAS, R or Python experience a plus Salesforce or Power BI experience a plus
