Position Description: Job Responsibilities: • Effectively use digital and social media platforms to reach target audiences and advance communication objectives. • Use a strategic approach to social media, developing content that is engaging, uses platform best practices, and meets project goals. • Develop accurate, compelling, audience- appropriate content for digital and social platforms. • Package social media content for various audiences and customize content based on the user (e.g., partner organization, federal agency, community health worker). • Work with a graphic designer or use graphic design skills to create engaging social media graphics to accompany social media messages. • Develop social media messages in response to current events, sometimes on a quick turnaround. • Develop and implement a strategic digital/social communication plan. • Direct and conduct social media listening and media monitoring activities, including analysis and reporting. • Provide leadership in maintaining client relationships, delivering strategic council, and troubleshooting project-related issues. • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, or related field. • At least 8 years of experience, including experience as a digital/social media strategist and content developer overseeing planning and assistance to clients in public health communications and campaigns. • Must be familiar with best practices in integrated marketing communications, digital marketing, and have demonstrated ability to lead the execution of these tasks.

Preferred Qualifications: • A Master’s degree in communications, public health, or related field. • Experience with a range of public health topics, including health disparities. • Experience leading and contributing to business development efforts.

Minimum Qualifications: • Proven ability to consistently make sound judgments and effectively collaborate with project team members. • Innovative communications strategist with excellent organization and management skills. • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
