Position Description: The National Center for Primary Care is seeking a Program Coordinator for Outreach and Communications and a Program Coordinator for Community Engagement to join their team.

Individual will report to the AIM-AHEAD Program Director for the Equity Engagement Hub. Provides administrative assistance to team to support the accomplishment of program objectives; develops, coordinates, and advises staff regarding program policy. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, the AIM-AHEAD Project will develop and coordinate a strategic and structured network of national, state/territorial and local public and community-based organizations that will establish a foundation to meet AIM-AHEAD goals of broadening the diversity of and representation in data used in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) through: (1) the engagement of a geographically diverse set of providers and communities that care for the nation’s lowest-income and most-underserved patients.; (2) developing an initial set of AI/ML applications for both a priority health disparities research use case and an AI/ML model translation into clinical practice; (3) establishing infrastructure for validation and bias detection in AI/ML applications and (4) piloted federated sharing of additional datasets (e.g., EHR, SDH, CVS/environmental datasets, death, claims, etc.) for use in AI/ML.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public health, communications, or other area as appropriate – Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university

3-4 years related experience

3-5 years of office administrative experience

1-2 years of communication content development experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with specific experience using MS PowerPoint - Intermediate Powerpoint skills

Proficiency with other design software such as Canva

Experience with marketing and media (including social media) planning and dissemination

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent customer service and problem- solving skills

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
