GHPC is seeking a marketing manager (MM) to join the already awesome team taking the GHPC to the next level of excellence and global achievements!

The center’s current scope of work includes behavioral health, child health & well-being, community health systems development, health & health care financing, health in all policies, health systems transformation, long-term services & support, population & global health, and rural health. The center conducts, analyzes, and disseminates qualitative and quantitative research to connect decision-makers with the objective research and guidance needed to make informed decisions about health policy and programs. The center is at work locally, nationally, and internationally with public and private partners to improve health and well-being.

The Center of Excellence, within GHPC, was created in partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. The COE employs a three?pronged focus on research, policy, and practice, and is engaged in providing: workforce development through technical assistance and training to build the capacity of the state’s behavioral health workforce; research and evaluation to monitor and assess behavioral health services for providers and state agencies to measure program effectiveness; and consultative research and policy analysis services for local, state, and national partners focusing on financing structures and service delivery opportunities for improving the behavioral health System of Care.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for working with GHPC’s Center of Excellence, Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), and provider agencies to provide guidance and technical assistance to develop/facilitate consistent organizational branding, products, and communication strategies to enhance community engagement, sustainability, and increase the visibility of public behavioral health safety net services. The Marketing Manager will develop communication tools and deliverables to increase organizational marketing ability and develop targeted strategies to improve marketing and communication capacity.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO • Manage and develop audience-focused copy for print, web, and social media • Development of products (e.g., briefs, newsletters, presentations) to disseminate information on the children’s behavioral health system in Georgia • Assess and propose recommendations to improve marketing strategies aimed at improving community engagement and sustainability • Provide consultation on ways to increase marketing and community engagement capacity • Recommend and provide standardized and tailored technical assistance services based on need • Provides leadership, development, and management of projects, project portfolios, and competency areas. • Serves as a liaison among clients, GHPC, and university personnel while directing projects toward their strategic goals • May supervise marketing staff or students as needed

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO MAKE YOU SHINE • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, virtual meeting platforms, and WordPress • Excellent project management skills • Keen attention to detail and accuracy • Experience with social media platforms and content development • Strong communications and organizational skills • Presentation skills • Creative problem-solving and design skills • Emotional intelligence • Strong writing and proofreading skills • Strategic communication skills • Knowledge of printing, design, and publication techniques

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (e.g., art, graphic design, communication, public relations, or journalism) and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS It is expected that the candidate will have experience in content marketing, website design, and maintenance, social media, and graphic design.
