Position Description: The University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford seeks applications for the full-time Research Associate II – Program Evaluation position within the National Center for Rural Health Professions (NCRHP). This position assists with research and evaluation, including developing research designs and evaluation protocols, data analysis, and disseminating results. This individual will work with community partners and clients to support ongoing funded research. This is an in-person position.

Qualifications: Candidates for this position must meet the minimum qualifications below: • Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, statistics/biostatistics, or a related field • A minimum of one year of related research experience. • Knowledge of research concepts, practices, and procedures. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Organization Description: The NCRHP, certified in 2003 by the Illinois Board of Higher Education, strives to meet the healthcare needs of rural residents and their communities in Illinois, nationwide, and worldwide. The NCRHP is one of three centers nationally that collaborates with the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization to advance medical education using social accountability principles, focusing on primary care services for underserved communities and rural populations.

The regional campus in Rockford, IL, is part of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, one of the largest medical schools in the United States. The University offers outstanding opportunities for development for its students, faculty, and staff. Rockford is a progressive, mid-sized metropolitan area in northern Illinois, west of Chicago.
