Salary Grade: U4

Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 DOQ Reporting to the Health Department Director, the Deputy Director – Public Health Services and Surveillance will serve as a member of the senior leadership team for the Health Department. The position is responsible for oversight of the department’s Epidemiology Division; its Clinical Services Division; its Consumer and Food Safety Division; and a soon-to-be-formed office focused on non- communicable diseases. The position is responsible for overseeing approximately 230 positions (including four direct reports) and $15 million in funding. As one of three deputy directors for the department, the position works closely with the Director to develop and implement Pima County Health Department’s organizational and strategic vision of becoming one of the healthiest counties nationally.
