Position Description: This position is in the Health Department. OPEN UNTILL FILLED.

Salary Grade: 34

The primary responsibility of this position is to to provide support to managers, with their recruitment and interview processes.

This includes the review of recruitment and interview documentation, serving as an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) monitor during interviews, and collaborating with Human Resources and hiring managers to complete required paperwork.

Additional duties will be providing administrative support to the Business Operations Division and other department units or programs, which may include assistance with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, meeting minutes, answering department phones and other duties as directed.

Qualifications: (1) Four years of experience performing secretarial or administrative tasks that demonstrate the required knowledge and skills including two years of experience providing overall support and coordination for a department, specialized program, or small business. (Relevant education from an accredited college, university, trade or vocational school may substitute for up to two years of the general portion of the aforementioned experience.) OR: (2) Two years of experience as an Office Support Level III or Office Support Level IV, or a similar clerical classification within Pima County.

Preferred Qualifications: (Be specific in describing your experience in your application. Ensure the descriptions provided illustrate your competencies, specifically addressing the required and preferred qualifications.):

Minimum two (2) or more years experience supporting human resources, personnel or employment units within an agency. Experience/knowledge of Pima County Merit System Rules and personnel policies. Experience in HR software environments. Experience serving as an interview monitor, Equal Employment Opportunity monitor, or similar role.
