| Position Description: |
Responsible for assisting the with the planning, directing, and managing the activities, operations and staff of the Epidemiology unit; serves as medical community liaison between the District and medical stakeholders in Clark County; performs investigation of complex cases, outbreaks and provides expert consultation.

| Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications Education and Training: Medical Doctorate Degree: Experience: Four (4) years of professional experience in public health or healthcare setting focused on epidemiological investigations or population health two (2) years of which were in a supervisory role; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. License or Certificate: Nevada licensure as a physician or the ability to get one within 6 months of employment. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Nevada driver's license.
