| Position Description: |
Our Health Innovation and Pilot Performance team is currently seeking a Research Scientist III (Epidemiology/Biostatistics). This position helps CalPERS conduct research and evaluation of its health care program and initiatives by conducting scientific studies along with other data collection and analyses. These findings have helped guide the program, while also allowing the team to publish in peer-reviewed journals.

Experience: Scientific research experience in Epidemiology/Biostatistics or a closely related field including a) Experience designing and executing a complex, highly specialized research project and/or b) Experience in the coordination and direction of a complex and difficult scientific research effort
