Position Description: RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work productively, effectively, and efficiently with customers, clients, co- workers, volunteers, and management.

Essential Functions:

• Provide general administrative support to the Vice President of Public Policy, Health Equity, and Research. • Collaborate with the Vice President of Public Policy, Health Equity, and Research on HoG’s global health projects • Assist the Vice President of Public Policy, Health Equity, and Research with work related to the annual organizational audit

Southeast Region Hemophilia Network Support • Assist the Regional Administrator with regional grant proposals and consortia agreements, including data collection and analysis, typing, proofing, and submission. • Collaborate with the Regional Administrator to develop and maintain tracking systems for regional sub-recipient's quarterly invoices, audits, 340B recertification (when applicable), contracts, and progress reports • Collaborate with the Regional Administrator to maintain files and records for the annual A-133 audit. • Assist with logistical planning and implementation for the Annual Southeast Region Hemophilia Network Meeting and other regional training or meetings. • Assist with logistical processes required to procure reports and invoices from all Southeast Region Hemophilia Network affiliate programs.

Grants, Research, and Funded Initiatives Support • Assist the Grants Management Coordinator with proposals and agreements, including data collection and analysis, typing, proofing, and submission for HoG Grants to Georgia HTCs, research grants, and other funded initiatives. • Collaborate with the Grants Management Coordinator to develop and maintain tracking systems for quarterly invoices, contracts, and reports for HoG grants to Georgia HTCs, research grants, and other funded initiatives. • Assist with logistical planning and implementation for the Annual HoG State Meeting. • Assist with logistical processes required to procure reports and invoices from all grants, research, and funded initiative affiliate programs.

Policy & Advocacy Support • Assist the Senior Director of Advocacy with logistical planning and implementation of Advocacy events, meetings, and training workshops.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work in cooperation with other attendant positions to cover phones and assist with general office support as needed. • Additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Public Policy, Health Equity, and Research.

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS • College degree required • Experience working in an office-based environment. • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance • Strong time management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities with a high degree of initiative required • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information and documentation gained in the course of performing job responsibility • Team player who brings initiative, positivity and creativity to the table • Ability to influence and build relationships/earn credibility with internal and external customers.Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy • Experience in data extraction, organization, and manipulation from internal business applications • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with knowledge, experience, and proficiency working with Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally
