NYU Steinhardt provides undergraduate and graduate education in the areas of culture, education, and human development, and includes several departments focused on health and health services. This position will provide the nutrition expertise for a new NYU Steinhardt Undergraduate Health Studies program. We are seeking candidates with a clearly-articulated research agenda, teaching philosophy, and practice and research experience in nutrition, health, and wellness. Candidates should also have a strong record of or potential for publication, research, and external funding; experience with conducting applied or clinical nutrition research; commitment to teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Achieving our department’s mission requires this position to support the core nutrition courses and programs in concert with the Steinhardt mission for advancing knowledge in human development and well-being through rigorous research and education
