Position Description: The Research Project Manager will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary research team that is conducting maternal-child health cohort research to investigate the role of early life (including prenatal and early childhood) exposures on perinatal and child health outcomes via the NIH-supported Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program. The Atlanta-based ECHO Cohort consists of African American mother-child dyads, who were enrolled during pregnancy and followed since birth under a protocol that involved annual visits from age 2 years onward.

In the next funding cycle, cohort research will involve assuring the entire team is trained in all aspects of the updated ECHO protocol, maintaining certifications in the updated protocol, re-consenting those enrolled in the initial phase of ECHO under the updated research protocol, performing data and sample collection under the updated research protocol), preparing (coding, cleaning) and uploading collected data for submission to the national ECHO program, responding to data queries related to data submissions, participating in weekly team meetings to assure adherence to the updated protocol and to contribute to developments in the updated protocol over the course of the research.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: A master's degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, sociology, and psychology or related discipline and two years of professional level research experience, OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience in designing and setting up REDCap data bases for the collection and storage of research data. Knowledge of and experience in using REDCap data bases to deploy consent forms and survey instruments to participants remotely using e-mail approaches. Knowledge of and experience in monitoring survey instrument completion and quality via REDCap. Knowledge of and experience in creating data bases to monitor biospecimen meta-data, including biospecimen usage. Experience in maternal and child health research, including the longitudinal follow-up of cohort participants.
