Position Description: Are you passionate about healthcare licensure and regulatory activities? Are you concerned about patient safety and access to care? We’re seeking a dedicated, detail oriented, and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Healthcare Enforcement and Licensing Management System (HELMS) Project Support Coordinator. Make a difference. Position Overview: As a HELMS Project Support Coordinator (Management Analyst 3), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the success of the HELMS project, by providing dedicated business subject matter expertise and helping ensure the project meets project objectives, addresses problems, and adds value to the organization. You’ll gain an understanding of the business needs of the office across multiple programs and communicate these needs to the HELMS project to help ensure CHS business needs and critical success factors are accomplished. You will monitor to ensure approved requirements are referenced and integrated throughout the project; this will be integral to the success of the HELMS project. This position is charged with business process and solution integration for CHS and alerts leadership to any changes or omissions. You’ll also perform risk identification to mitigate large gaps from forming.

Qualifications: Option 1: Seven (7) or more years of professional experience in a health profession, data management, or facility credentialing program. OR Option 2: A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in public health, healthcare administration, public or business administration, or a related field; AND two (2) or more years of experience in a health services, data management, or public administration setting. AND (for ALL of the above options) the following Skills/Abilities/Competencies: Effective written and verbal communication with coworkers and stakeholders. Adept at relationship building and developing cooperative and facilitative relationships with people both similar and different to oneself. Models and encourages a commitment to critical thinking.

Organization Description: The Division of Health Systems Quality Assurance (HSQA) is responsible for the oversight of Washington State’s health care delivery system which includes licensing and regulating over 470,000 health care professionals and 12,000 facilities. HSQA also works closely with communities and local health partners to build strong health systems and prevention programs across the state to help ensure communities have access to good health care and emergency medical services.
