Position Description: Be a part of shaping the future of public health leadership in Washington State!

Join our Leader Development Experiences Team (LDET) as a Leader Development Experiences Partner (LDEP). Your role is crucial in aligning individual skill-building with structural support to create a comprehensive set of interventions.

Using your expertise in collaborative problem-solving and career development, you'll help increase equity and transparency in hiring and evaluating leaders. Your commitment to ongoing learning will help develop inclusive experiences for current and aspiring leaders.

As part of the LDET team, you'll create and evaluate learning opportunities and partner with employees to develop evidence-based policies for recruiting equity-focused leaders. You'll also contribute to our Employee Experience Program (EXP), ensuring transparency and consistency in leader expectations across the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you'll exercise autonomy in tackling complex problems, contributing to DOH's strategic goals and workforce transformation. By applying the principle of targeted universalism, you'll support all leaders while addressing barriers faced by traditionally marginalized employees.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications and Experience: Experience can substitute for education on a year for year basis and may have been gained concurrently.

Education and/or experience leading, developing or coordinating projects or programs focused on equitable professional development, leadership, team development, career pathways, mentoring, or coaching.

Option 1: Six (6) or more years of experience. Option 2: Associate degree; AND four (4) or more years of experience Option 3: Bachelor’s degree or higher in public administration, public health, business administration, education, human resources management, adult education and training, or similar applicable field; AND two (2) or more years of experience
