Position Description: As a Management Analyst 5 within the Center for Epidemiologic Practice, Equity and Assessment at OHS, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing equity and social justice in Epidemiologic practice. In your role, you will manage a portfolio of issues relevant to data sharing between DOH and Washington State Tribes. In collaboration with internal DOH teams, you will coordinate agencywide efforts to craft Tribal data policies, all in alignment with indigenous data sovereignty principles. Your insights and recommendations will drive impactful decisions, shaping the future of public health initiatives in Washington.

Qualifications: Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Native American and Indigenous studies, business administration, public policy, law, public health, health administration, political science, or a related field and five (5) years of experience overseeing projects and/or system change from initiation to completion. Option 2: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited graduate school with a focus in Native American and Indigenous studies, business administration, public policy, law, public health, health administration, political science, or a related field AND three (3) years of experience overseeing projects and/or system change from initiation to completion. AND Knowledge of indigenous ways of knowing and tribal sovereignty. Competencies Demonstrated experience effectively conveying information orally and in writing, tailoring messages, and communicating methods to a variety of audiences.
