| Position Description: |
The Program Consultant 3 will assist the Chronic Disease Prevention team with executing community-wide strategies that promote physical activity, address food insecurity, and prevent tobacco use. Job responsibilities may include: Assessing community health needs Coordinating or facilitating evidence-based interventions; Assisting with the launch of marketing initiatives; Analyzing policies and making recommendations and connecting stakeholders or individuals to resources that facilitate healthy behaviors or help to create healthy communities.

| Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of experience performing work related to area of assignment OR One year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Program Consultant 2 (HCP091) or position equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications 1) Master's degree preferred, in Public Health, Health Policy, or related field and 3 years of experience in the public health field.
2) Experience in collecting, analyzing and reporting data to assess community needs.
3) Experience in implementing evidence-based strategies to facilitate behavioral and environmental changes.
4) Experience working with community members and key stakeholders to facilitate policymaking and environmental changes

The FCBOH serves nearly one million citizens who reside in Fulton County. The health centers include state-of-the-art clinics to serve our clients along with an Office of Vital Records located in the Fulton County Government Center.
